English lessons is the one of the hardest lessons I think. Ranging from elementary through in senior high school, I was not too happy with that lesson. But in fact, now I belong to a class that requires me to be able to master this lesson correctly. I must study and continue to learn English. For my English teacher, guidance me please :),
This is a picture of my family in the class :)

Good Afternoon ..
The first news come from medan, north
sumatera. In conjunction with the commemoration of National Farmers Day, about 1,000
farmers and university students staged two separate rallies in Medan, North
Sumatra, on Saturday, demanding agrarian reform and enforcement of the Agrarian
Law. To know more about this protest action, we will have a contact with our
reporter in medan. Hello dhimas
Dhimas : Yes
yustina
Yustina :
How is the situation there?
Dhimas
: There is a thousand people here,
who come from different places and different profession. You can see here many farmers
and university students who gather together here to protest the government and
demand for the reformation and enforcement of agrarian law.
Yustina : You said that majority of people there
is a farmer, did they come together or they come individually?
Dhimas : They come together and grouped in an
organization that called SPI or Serikat Petani Indonesia.
Yustina
: What about the university student, from which university they come from?
Dhimas : Majority af student here is come from
USU or Universitas Sumatera Utara, but they are also student from another
university around medan.
Yustina
: What is actually the demonstrant want, the reason why they do this protest ?
Dhimas : The demonstrant want government
immediately reform the agrarian law, cause they think the old law cannot
accomodate what they want. The
protesting farmers said that agrarian reform was urgent given the high number
of land dispute cases that had harmed farmers. They also condemned how local
administrations dealt with land disputes.
Yustina :
How long did they do the protest and is there any respond from the government?
Dhimas
: Until now they have stand in front
of the governor office for 5 hours and still have no respond from the local
government especially the governor of north sumatera. And tina now I will have
an interview with the representation of the demonstrant. Hello sir,
Rudi :
Farmer Hello
Dhimas : What
is your name what is your profession?
Rudi :
My name is rudi and i am a farmer
Dhimas : What
about you sir, what is your name and also what is your profession ?
Aries :
My name is Aries and i am a university student
Dhimas : So,
first question what are actually the purpose of this protest?
Rudi
: The purpose is to protest the
government about the agrarian law and also demand for the reformation of
agrarian law
Dhimas : In
your opinion, why the agrarian law need to be changed?
Rudi
: In my opinion, the agrarian
law is no longer good for the indonesian farmers. The law is very intimidating indonesian
farmers.
Dhimas : Can
you give me some fact about why this law is really intimidating
Aries : We have some fact here. In our data
there were currently 14 unresolved land dispute cases in North Sumatra covering
a combined 8.2 hectares of agricultural land. We are struggling to win the 14
cases that have created victims and caused losses among farmers
Dhimas : What kind of respond you expect from
the government or what should the government do to fix this problem ?
Aries
: I hoped that the government
would soon bring about true agrarian reform so that farmers would not always
become the victims of injustice caused by capitalists. Now, farmers have faced
intimidation, violence and even imprisonment. Today, on National Farmers Day,
we really hope that the local administrations issue a decision to speed up the
processing of land conflict cases in North Sumatra
Dhimas
: Which point in the law actually
you want to be reformed?
Aries : We demanding that the government
uphold Law No. 5/1960 on agrarian affairs, This day Sept. 24th was a historical moment for
Indonesians as it was the birth date of agrarian law, which had been achieved
through revolution when Indonesians took over Dutch controlled farm land. Unfortunately,
so far the state does not have those spirit. Government still bows to the
foreign capitalists’ interests.
Dhimas
:And what else you want the government to do?
Rudi : we demand an end of violence and intimidation against farmers.
Rudi : we demand an end of violence and intimidation against farmers.
Dhimas : Okay thank you for your time to have this
interview and i hope that the government will respond positively to your demand.
Okay tina that is the report from medan now back to you in the studio
Yustina
: Okay thank you dhimas for the
report. Later after the commercial break we will have news from america about inovation of
agricultural machinery .
